In case you did not know about this event, it was CSS Naked Day on April 9th, 2008. (You might say) Heyyy, it was 4 days ago and yet, the post about it was created and posted today. (I answered) Yes, that’s true but I have my own reason. I started this site on April 12th, 2008 and obviously, I have the opportunity to inform you about the event is only after this site has been built. Hehehehe.
Back to topic, CSS Naked Day is an annual event started in 2006 to promote plain and simple Web Standards. They include proper use of (X)HTML, a good hierarchy structure, semantic markup and content as well. This world-wide event runs in one international day (48 hours).
In this event, the webmasters who have sign up strip the CSS from their website. The website is totally nude and is exposed to the whole world. What a brave website:P.
If you are interested to participate in this “movement”, you can join the next CSS Naked Day on Thursday, April 9th, 2009. As for Wordpress lover, you can install a plugin to join this “desire to strip the web” and expose its “sexiness”. For others, you can find many plugins for this event day.
